Research Notes

  • cos1776 Note: This unknown male Smith is connected to this family by way of a series of wills, belonging to his father Thomas Smith, his brother Thomas Smith, and his wife's subsequent husband, Nathaniel Harding. The three Wills, written in June and July of 1699, reveal that Mrs. Sarah Harding is a daughter in law of Thomas Smith, Sr., but they do not reveal the name of her Smith husband. Before the end of September 1699, all three men would die.
