Some sources (including one post on familysearch.org) claim that the parents of the Risk brothers that migrated to early Augusta County, were John Risk and Margaret, but there are no records in Augusta County to corroborate that theory. Additional research is necessary to prove the parents of John, James, Robert, William and Samuel Risk, early settlers of Augusta County, VA.
