Person:Unknown Bickle (1)

There is some reason to suspect that this could be the George Bickle mentioned in the Military Register for Squaw Tsp, Warren Co., IA on June 1864; included George Bickel age 44 (calculated to be born around 1820). This family migrated to Kansas and had family around Oswego, according to interview notes with Sophia Bickle Braught. Some Braughts moved from Warren Co., IA after their civil war service to Oswego, KS. Letter from Sharon Rickerson, 6126 Brace, Detroit, MI 48228 provides some data on several Bickle people 1770-1900, but I found no matches there ( email is rickerson@pipeline.com). There were marriages into surnames of Graham, Brown, etc. Mostly Meigs Co.,OH locations.
