Ulysses S. Jackson, 84, died at the home of his daughter, Mrs. George Martin, Meyersdale RD 3, Monday, Nov. 7, at noon. He was born Dec. 7, 1865, in Lonaconing, Md., a son of William and Susan (Beeman) Jackson. He was a retired farmer. Besides Mrs. Martin, two sons survive, John E. Jackson of Sand Patch RD 1, and William A. Jackson of Frostburg, Md.; 12 grandchildren and 13 great- grandchildren. Funeral services were held at the Martin home today at 2:30, with the Rev. I. C. Paul and the Rev. J. Ewing Jones officiating. Burial under the direction of W. C. Price and Son, in Union Cemetery, Meyersdale.
