'Ulrich Ryeff [son of Jacob and Annali (Tanner) Ryeff], b. 1626, Wädenswil. In 1654 he was single and living in his brother Joseph'[s] household at Zweierhof in Wädenswil. He went to Oppenheim in the Pfalz in 1657. In 1678 he was listed as "in the Pfalz". In 1682 he was stated to be living near Neustadt in the Pfalz with his wife Cathri Zäshler (or Räshler). Cathri was of Zofingen, Switzerland. In 1687 the minister at Wädenswil wrote that Ulrich was living in the Pfalz with his wife and five children. In 1689 the minister wrote that Ulrich and his wife have been in the Pfalz for a number of years and were still members of the Reformed Church and are good people. ...'
