He was a Tailor in 1739. Arrived February 7, 1739 in Philadelphia, PA on the shiip Jamaica Galley. Arrived with his older brother Hans Jacob Bruner, the Trumpeter of Bassersdorf. Three versions of name were used in the ship passenger list; Jurick, Ulrich and George. Settled in Cocalico district, Lancaster county PA, north of Ephrata. He was a member of the Muddy Creek Reformed Church, PA. Others of same name, probably relatives, include Jacob, Wolf Heinrich and George Michael Bruner. Possibly was in Chester county PA in 1774. Moved to Bedford County ca 1775, was on the tax list of Bedford county PA starting in 1775. On February 11, 1795, he purchased 50 acres and a sawmill in Jessamine County, Kentucky. References
