Parentage

We know from marriage records in Botetourt County that Ufus Crawford's father was named John Crawford. A likely candidate is John Crawford, Sr. who was living in the Craig's and Patterson Creek area. John Crawford, Sr.'s son William Crawford had a daughter named "Eufues Crawford", which may indicate that he had named his daughter after his likely sister. Additional research is needed.
