"Udosia Byers died July 5, 1833" from her headstone in Old Brownsville Cemetery. "Udosia Byers, refereed to above as buried there, was the mother of Lindorph Ozburn, who later distinguished himself as the brave Colonel of the 31st Illinois Infantry after General Logan's advancement from that position."
