  Mr. Tunis Denise, living on Freehold and Colt's Neck turnpike, near Freehold, shot a very large eagle on his farm last week. The wings measured two feet and a half each. Mr. Denise presented the bird to the editor of the Inguirer. It was an exceedinly handsome bird and quite a curiosity.

Tunis Denise of Freehold left to his wife, Mary Matilda Denise, her right of dower in his real estate and one-third of his personal property. To his son, William E. Denise, he left $5 in cash and a bond and mortgage amounting to $4,287.19. To Laura Denise and Arthur T. Denise, children of his son, William E. Denise, he left $100 each. To his grandson, Tunis Denise, son of Frank Denise, be left $1,000, to be paid to him when he reaches the age of 21 years. To Laura B. Denise and Helen Denise, daughters of Frank Denise, he left $600, to be divided between them equally when they reach the age of eighteen years. All the rest of his estate was left to his son, Frank Denise. Mr. Denise's wife, Mary Matilda Denise, and his son, Frank Denise, were made executors of the will. The will was made December 16th, 1889, and was witnessed by W. H. Butcher and C. L. Holmes, Two coodicils to the wills, embodying some of the provisions, were made in 1896.

  Tunis Denise of Freehold, who was buried on Tuesday, was a great-grand-son of Tunis Denise, who settled in Monmouth County from Kings County, N.Y., many years ago. There was a great similarity in the lives of the two men as well as in their names.
  both Tunis Denise of Freehold and his great-grandfather, Tunis Denise, were married three times. Each lived to be more than eighty years old. To make the coinsidence still more remarkable the second wives of both Denises were Hendricksons. The great grandfather married Franaluka? Hendrickson of the old Holland family of that name, white the younger Denise married Alice Hendrickson. Tunis Denise's third wife was a member of the Tunis family of this county.
  The Denises, through the first settlers of that name, are related to the Cortelyous of Secretary Cortelyon's family branch. The firs wife of Tunis Denise was a Cortelyou.
