Truman Lawler Rites in Ranger
Ranger (RNS) – Truman Ralph Lawler, 57, retired welder, died at 9:45 p.m. Sunday in Ranger General Hospital after a brief illness.
Funeral will be at 4 p.m. Tuesday from Killingsworth Funeral Chapel with the Rev. B. Thomas Tribble, pastor of First United Methodist Church, officiating.
Burial will be in Mount Zion Cemetery, north of Ranger.
Born April 29, 1912, in Winters, he had lived in Ranger since 1963. He married Lucille Bradford April 28, 1933, in Breckenridge. He was a veteran of World War II.
Survivors include his wife; two sons, Norman E. of Ranger and Truman Dale of Houston; a daughter, Mrs. J.B. Glaze of Baytown; two sisters, Mrs. Lois Lain of Albuquerque, N.M. and Mrs. Doris Kelly of California; five grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be John Sneed, George Falls, Robert Bradford, Charles Mitchell, Aaron Howton and Lloyd Howton.

Truman Lawler died Monday in Ranger, after a long illness. Funeral Services were Tuesday at 4 p.m., at Killingsworth Funeral Home, interment in Mt. Zion of this community. Survivors are his wife, the former Lucille Bradford of Frankell; one daughter, Mrs. J.D. Glade of Houston; two sons, Norman of Ranger and Dale of Houston, and several grandchildren.
