She was the daughter of J.P. andCherry Ann Register. She was born in Lee and lived most of herlife in Madison. She helped demonstrate to students at NorthFlorida Community College how to make ceramics. She loved tofish and was a member of Pine Grove Baptist Church in Madison.She is survived by two sons, Lonnie Purvis of Live Oak and JamesPurvis of Lake City; a sister, Audry James of Live Oak; ninegrandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren. She was preceded indeath by two sons, Robert Purvis and Billy Purvis. Published inthe Tallahassee Democrat on 10/30/2003.
