Tobias Stapleton was the first born son of Robert and Anna Marie. His birth was recorded in the records of the Trinity Lutheran Church. That was in 1717. He moved with his parents to Pennsylvania where he received land from the Penn brothers (1, 2, 3, 4). He was the administrator of his father's Pennsylvania estate as well as guardian to his brother John's son, John, in 1755.He left a will (1, 2) that was probated in Berks County, Pennsylvania during 1805.
