Titus married Marie Belknap. He apparently died before 1850. His known children born in the 1820s include Cynthia (possibly born in Genessee co., N.Y.), Maria Jane (married Mahlon B. Easting in Wis.), Philander B. (married Irene J.; also went to Wis.), and one other child. He then married Saphrona Kennedy on 6/19/1823 in Mendon, Monroe Co, NY. He was said to be of Scauys (sic) which must have been in the CNY or WNY area but I have been unable to figure out where. Could Marie Belknap have been his first or third wife? (The Titus Cook of China (Arcade), Wyoming Co, NY was listed on the same page as a Porter Belnap, so probably not our Titus. Cook is a different Titus from the one I am tracing. The two had children about the same time which would rule out them being the same person. References
