    Timothy Somes, son of Morris and Margerie, married April 2, 1673, Jane Stanwood, who was born [Apr.] 14, 1655, daughter of Philip and Jane. By his first wife, Timothy Somes had six sons and six daughters. Jane (Stanwood) Somes died in childbirth, Oct. 30, 1696; and Timothy Somes married March 11, 1697, Hannah Despar, his second wife, by whom he had three sons and two daughters. He died Feb. 1, 1706. The home of Timothy Somes was near Mill river. Of his seventeen children, twelve were mentioned in his will, which was dated Jan. 29, 1706. He left an estate of 95 lbs., 9s.
