Timothy L Renninger

Timothy L Renninger, 51, of Loma Linda, Calif., died at 10:29 p.m. Wednesd ay, Oct. 29, 2003, in Loma Linda VA Hospital in Loma Linda, Calif., from c omplications from his on- going diabetes problems.

He was born April 14, 1952, in Mercy Hospital, Tiffin, to Wm J and Ange la K (Schleter) Renninger. He married Barbara Bolton in Loma Linda, Calif ., June 1, 2003, and she survives. Other survivors include: four brothers, twin brother Tom "Reddog" Renning er of Tiffin, Wm J Renninger Jr of Lyman, S.C, Arthur R Renninger of Geno a, and Ralph J Renninger of Powell; two sisters, Mrs. Louis (Shirley) Schi pper of Chesaning MI., and Mrs. Alton (Joanne) Elchert of Tiffin; and nie ces and nephews.

Preceding him in death were: his father who died April 10, 1979; his moth er who died April 7, 1995; a sister, Mrs. Robert (Dolores) Weinandy who di ed June 18, 2003; and a nephew, Greg A Renninger who died May 25, 1995.

Mr. Renninger was raised and received his education in Tiffin and attend ed St. Mary's Grade School and Calvert High School. He enjoyed traveling a nd working the CO fairs as an electrician. He was a Vietnam Veteran, and h is military awards include: Vietnamese Campaign Medal, Vietnamese Servi ce Medal, Presidential Unit Citation, National Defense Service Medal, a nd Meritorious Unit Citation. A military plaque will be duplicated from Ca lifornia to put on the tombstone in his honor.

It was Mr. Renninger's wish to be cremated. A Memorial Mass wi ll be at 10 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 15, in St. Mary's Catholic Church with a g athering after the service in St. Mary's Rec Room.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. Paul's United Methodist C hurch, Tiffin, to benefit the Ecumenical Sharing Kitchen in which Mr. Renn inger had partaken and had many friends.
