p (26-29) Timothy Nash, usually called Lieutenant Timothy Nash, was the youngest child of Thomas Nash, the emigrant, and was born in England, or at Lyden, in Holland, in 1626.
He represented the Town of Hadley at the General Court of Massachusetts, in 1690, 1691 and 1695. And d. in a good and respected old age, 13 March, 1699, N.S. in his 73d year.
(p 271-274) names in his will: "my beloved wife" Rebecca; son Thomas Nash of Hatfield; son Joseph Nash; son Timothy Nash; son John Nash; son Samuel Nash; son Ebenezer Nash; son Daniel Nash; son Ephraim Nash; and daughter Hope Werner. He names wife Rebecca Nash and son Joseph Nash to be joint executors. Witnessed: Samuel Porter, Daniel Marsh, Samuel Barnard, and Samuel Patrigg.
In an agreement 28 Mar 1698/9 concerning the will of "our Honored Father Lt. Timothy Nash, deceased;" the heirs (excepting Ebenezer and Timothy) made additions/clarifications to the will, including "as alseo that Mary Scott who hath been brought up as a child under our honored father and mother's care and education till now she is of age for herself, that she shall have out of the inventoried estate before any distribution subduted out of the totall thereof, besides three sheep with the lambs to them, the full sum of six pounds ... to be payed in convenyient tyme."
