Timothy and Christopher MULFORD came from Easthampton, Long Island to Hanover Nec, Morris County NJ where they purchased a large tract of land reaching from the Whipparty to the Passaic Rivers, a large portion unsettled and uncultivated. Here they ived, married, brought up their families and died. Their home in England was Easthampton. How natural when settling on Long Island, to name their home in memory of their birthplace, They lived for the future, they cleared the soil, built the sanctuary, founded Christian institutions and labored together not less fo rus than for themselver.(from Mrs. A.E.
