Corn, Timothy - moved with father's family from Redstone, Pennsylvania, to area of Virginia, later Mercer County, Kentucky, near McGary's Fort where he entered service in 1781; granted Pension abt. age 74 in Mercer County, Kentucky, 1834, where he died 8/21/1848; married 7/17/1831 to widow Elizabeth Yeast, (Marriage Bond 6/23/1831 signed by George B. Click), Harrodsburg, that County; her eldest son by first husband married 4/1832 & ha daughter born 18 months later, both mentioned but not named; widow granted Pension in 1853 there; no mention of any children of soldier by Elizabeth; query letter of file in 1940 from descendant Mrs. B.B. Sisco Jr., Bardstown, Kentucky, also descendant of Virginia Revolutionary War soldier William Hicks who was granted Pension in 1818 & died 12/19/1822' query letter in file in 1937 from James F. Corn, Cleveland, Tennessee. R655.
