Thurman Mallett 

 Thurman O. Mallett, age 89, of Springfield, Arkansas, passed away Sunday, January 15, 2006.
 He was born June 3, 1916, in Mallettown, Arkansas, a son of Joe C. Mallett and Lona Salter Mallett. Mr. Mallett was a row crop farmer, Mason and member of Mallettown Methodist Church.
 He is survived by his wife, Ruby (Jones) Mallett of Mallettown; son, Joe Mallett and wife Teresa of Conway; brother, J.C. Mallett of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; sister, Gywneth Ledbetter of Yukon, Oklahoma; grandchildren, Matt Mallett and wife Meghan and Sarah Mallett and Mark Mallett, all of Conway; great-grandchildren, Caleb, Ashleigh and Bryce Mallett of Conway.
 Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Wednesday, January 18, at the Harris Chapel with Les Ledbetter officiating. Burial will be at Mallettown Cemetery by Harris Funeral Home of Morrilton.
 Pallbearers will be Warren Bane, Jerry Dunlap, Charlie Dunlap, Randy Dunlap, Da-vid Dunlap, and Kevin Mailot.
 Memorials may be made to Mallettown Methodist Church, 274 Town Circle, Springfield, Arkansas 72157, or St. Joseph School Endowment, 1315 College Ave., Conway, Arkansas 72034.
