"6. Thomas (2) Williams, son of William and Alice Williams (1), was born at Great Yarmouth, Norfolkshire, England about 1630 and died at sea in 1673, caused by the accidental falling of 'Tackling' on a sloop at Boston. Thomas resided in some portion of Boston. Case # 1270, Supreme Court Records at Boston contained ten papers in connection with his death, the verdict being, 'Careless Murder'. In her petition the widow states, 'Ye poore petitioner being left in her widowhood estate and condition with four children, being destitute of a livelihood and brought to great distress.' Bond states 'February 26, 1655, Abraham Williams for himself, his mother, his brother and brother's wife, were notified in Watertown, Mass. concerning Swine.' which would indicate that Thomas was married and living in Watertown in 1655.
