Thwing, Thomas, ch. John and Sarah, -----. [Compiler's note: b. before child b. July 1761]. [Twing, C.R.1]
[As it stands, this doesn't seem credible, given the small gaps between marriage and first 3 children, leaving no place for a Thomas unless he is a twin, which is not indicated anywhere.]

Children of John Thwing and Sarah Chamberlain: Thomas, b. 22 Oct 1772, d. 18 Jan 1774.
[Notice the similarity to the date in the Thwing Genealogy. It seems probable that if Thomas had died in Jan 1774, then the following male child would have been named Thomas, and not David. So I suspect this date is a transcription error or typo.]

[Note: Source:Vital records of Newton, Massachusetts, to the year 1850, p. 507, "Thwing, Thomas, [died] Mar. 1, 1773" appears to be the death record of the Thomas Thwing who married Mary Bartlett, i.e., the grandfather of this Thomas, since no parents are named in the death record, which would be the usual pattern for death records that pertain to children.]
