Another researcher put Thomas Teevan and Mary Fitzpatrick as Thomas' parents. However since they also named Thomas (Jr)'s wife as a Harriet, and I have found a marriage record which fits perfectly (same church, parish, witness names that all make sense) I am confident that this Thomas married Harriet Pratt and was therefore Bernard's son. Bernard's son Thomas had the land at Kilnaglare in his name by 1814 . Descendants (through the eldest son, James) have been on the farm at Kilnaglare until very recently. When Thomas married Harriet, he was staying in Derryleague and she in Pullamore. She was a Protestant and they married under the United Free Church of England and Ireland. James Wilson and Elliott Pratt witnessed the wedding - proably the same James Wilson whose son was to marry their daughter Margaret. Thomas was already a widower. Thomas Teevan had the land at Kilnaglare in his name by 1814 . Descendants (through the eldest son, James) have been on the farm at Kilnaglare until very recently.
