    Deposition of John McIntire to establish land of Thomas Swearingen entry of 1000 acres made in 1782, deposeth: he lived at Strode's Station in yr. 1780 at which time he became acquainted with Plum Lick.
    Isaac Clinkenbeard states Plum Lick was place of notoriety to hunters from Strode's, he knew it in 1780, trace led from Station to Plum Lick.
    John Donaldson deposeth: was familiar with place in 1782.
