    'Their dust lies in the Presbyterian cemetery in Mifflinton, Pa., marked by a slab of brown slate on which is inscribed: "Here lieth deposited the earthly parts of Thomas Sturgeon, who departed this life May 18, A. D. 1813, Aged 81 years and 5 months." (The arithmetic is not good.)'
