STEPHENSON THOMAS R., Sr.
Age 71, of Elizabeth Twp., passed away on Sat., Sep. 2, 2017, in Jefferson Hospital. Born July 26, 1946, in McKeesport, he was a son of the late Thomas H. Stephenson, Jr. and Elizabeth J. (Blaha) Stephenson. A US Navy Veteran of the Vietnam War, Tom retired as an Assistant Vice President for Irwin Bank. He was the financial secretary for P.N.A. Lodge #352 of McKeesport and was active with both Mt. Vernon Youth Baseball and the McKeesport Baseball Association. Tom is survived by his wife, Sandra L. (Morgan) Stephenson; his children, Thomas R. (Regina) Stephenson, Jr., Ashlee M. (Robert) Boyle, and Craig M. Stephenson; his four grandchildren, Ryley T. Stephenson, Ryan M. Boyle, Addison P. Stephenson, and Brady P. Boyle; and his sister, Mary Louise Hebert. Besides his parents, Tom was preceded in death by his daughter, Joanna Stephenson. Friends will be received in the DANIEL F. BEKAVAC FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATORY, 4504 Walnut St., Versailles Boro, McKeesport, PA 15132, (412-678-3454), on Tue., Sep. 5, 2017, from 2 to 8 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Corpus Christi Parish on Wed., Sep. 6, 2017, at 10 a.m. with Fr. Stephen Palsa officiating. Procession with military honors will follow to Mt. Vernon Cemetery, Elizabeth Twp.
