Page 67 of the Rowell Family says Thomas' first wife was "born 1732 and died 1817. He married 2nd 6 Sep. 1770 Sarah Kent at Hampstead, N.H." with no further elaboration. In his 20 Aug 1778 will, Robert Barrett of Hopkinton refers to daughter Mary married to Thomas Rowel. It seems likely the assertion about the second marriage is incorrect.
