    Depositions taken to establish Thos. Gist's Military Survey, March 13, 1817
    - Thos. Rogers, aged abt. 62, settled where he now lives, in Bourbon Co., 1788 or '89, some few yrs. subsequent several men came in search of Gist's survey
    -John Loverens deposed regarding same.
    - John Frakes, aged abt. 40 yrs., states he settled on Stoner's fork in Bourbon Co., abt. 23 yrs. since.
    - Alexander Barnett, aged 61 yrs., states abt. the yr. 1789 he settled where he resides.
