Rockwell 5/3/51) Will of Tolbert Rockwell, son of Thomas and Sarah Clowson[sic] Rockwell I Tolbert Rockwell of the County of Morgan and State of West Va. after bequeathing my spirit to the God who gave to me, and my body to the grave, do hereby make this my last will and testament in the manor and form following Viz: It is my will and desire that all the perishable part of my estate after my disceased shall be passed and owned by my wife, Sarah Rockwell and after the death of my wife to be equally divided among my five girls namely Rhoda Michael,_Maryann Gruletta Grove_ Elizasbeth Michael_Phebe Ann Rider _and Matilda Kems, except one bed and bedding is reserved for Minna Rockwell, daughter of Edward Rockwell, and all the farming impliments to Edward Rockwell. 2nd. I will and bequeath to my two sons namely Ellias Rockwell and Edward Rockwell the land upon which I now live, the two tracts together containing about 156 acres upon the following conditions. Viz. by the said Elias Rockwell and Edward Rockwell paying after the death of my wife to my son John Rockwell the sum of $50.00 and to William Rockwell $50.00 and after all expenses are paid the balance should there be any, equally divided among all my children. And do hereby appoint my son Elias Rockwell as my executor to settle my estate.
