Thomas Henry Prosser (born 1776). He was the son of Col.Thomas Prosser who married Elizabeth Stokes, dau. of Henry Stokes of Henrico. Thos. Henry had a sister named Elizabeth, (born ca. 1760) who married Thomas Goode of Chesterfield Co., VA. Thos. Henry married Lucy Hylton, dau. of DAniel Hylton about 1811, in Henrico. Thomas Prosser Sr. died in 1798, leaving Brookfield (their plantation in Henrico) to his son Thos. Henry, who was "master" at the time of the Gabriel slave insurrection in 1800. Thos. Henry later moved to Mississippi (ca 1815), where he died about 1835.
