THOMAS PRICE Will
Chester County, PA No. 595
dated 22 March 1737; probated 12 April 1737.
In the name of God amen this twenty second day of March in the year of your Lord 1737 I THOMAS PRICE of the town of London Britain in the County of Chester in the province of Pennsylvania being very sick and weak of body . . .
I give and bequeath unto my beloved son WILLIAM PRICE the place he now liveth on – situated on Elk River in Chester County, ordering my executors to pay ten pounds which sum is unpaid for the said land
. . . to daughter KATTREN JOHNSON two pounds with interest, which sum is due to me from her husband HENRY JOHNSON .
. . . to daughter MARY PORTER the interest of a bond due to me which bond is the just and full sum thirteen pounds ten shillings which amounteth to three pounds.odd.
. . . to son JOHN twenty pounds, half to be paid within one year after my decease and the other half, ten pounds, within two years.
I give and bequeath to my beloved daughters ANN, ELIZABETH, SARAH and MARTHA seven pounds each. To be paid to ANN PRICE a year after my decease, to ELIZABETH PRICE two years after my decease, to SARAH PRICE three years and the sum of seven pounds to MARTHA PRICE four years after my decease.
The above sums to paid by my Executors in current lawful money of Pennsylvania.
I give and bequeath to my well beloved wife ANN and son RIES PRICE whom I likewise constitute and ordain my only and joint sole Executors . . . .all singular my lands, messuages, goods and chattel by them fully to be possessed and enjoyed. . .
