1942-54 - Recorded in Australian Electoral Roll as Edward John POYNTON, The Elbow, Ferntree Gully Upper, Victoria, tailor [with wife].

1967 - Death Certificate records name as Edward John POYNTON. According to the death certificate, he went to Victoria in about 1907 at 21 years of age. He was residing at 82 Cranbourne Rd, Frankston, Victoria, with his wife, at the time of his death. There were no children from his second marriage.

No place of burial has been recorded. His body was received by the Department of Anatomy, University of Melbourne, on 14 April 1967 by Leonard Preston.
