1709 will of Robert Pollard names (youngest) son Thomas and leaves him land left to daughter Mary Newby at her death. Thomas Pollard sold this to his brother John Pollard, whose son John of King George County sold it to Aaron Carter. Will, Lancaster County (DW 15:72b/143). Dated 29 March 1751, proved 18 October 1751. No wife named. Witnesses Richard Pollard, Martha Carter, Anthony Kirk. No executor named. Names sons George, James and Thomas Pollard. No daughters.
