    Thomas (2) Peck, son of Thomas (1) and Rebecca (Chafee) Peck, was born September 2, 1794. After his marriage he settled at Swansea, Mass., where he became a wealthy farmer, and prominent in the community. He married, March 24, 1825, Elmira Cole, a daughter of Aaron Cole, of Swansea, and they were the parents of the following children: William H., born Dec. 29, 1825; Elilzabeth B., Dec. 29, 1827, and became the wife of William Sherman; James C., Dec. 29, 1829; and Benjamin T.
