Benjamin T. Peck, son of Thomas (2) and Elmira (Cole) Peck, and father of Benjamin Thomas Peck, of this sketch, was born June 22, 1832. He made his home for a time at Assonet, Mass., and later at Providence, R. I., where his death occurred October 23, 1891. He married Louisa J. Davis, and they were the parents of the following children: Louisa Adelaide, born April 12, 1860; Jennie; Benjamin Thomas, mentioned below; William Taylor, born Dec. 19, 1872.
