And an 1813 Hampshire Co., VA deed of release whereby Thomas Parker of Bourbon Co., KY sold land he’d inherited from his Dobson grandfather and his wife Mary is referenced in the deed.

1810 and 1820 place this Thomas Parker in north-eastern Bourbon Co., KY.. Thomas Parker disappears from the Bourbon Co., KY tax records after 1823, but then appears in the 1823 through 1833 Nicholas Co., KY. tax records on McBrides Run. Nicholas Co., KY is the county northeast of and adjacent to Bourbon Co., KY.

On the 24 Sep. 1825 Thomas Parker purchased 59 ½ acres of land on McBrides Run from Elijah Mitchell and his wife Fidelia. On the 5th December 1825 Thomas Parker purchased 54 acres of land on McBrides Run from Elijah Mitchell and his wife Fidelia. These two parcels comprise the 114 acres recorded in the tax records between 1826 and 1849 as being owned by the said Thomas Parker and later by his sons William and John Parker.

In the 1830 Nicholas Co., KY. U.S. census there are two males age 20 to 30, two females age 20 to 30 living in the household of Thomas Parker age 50-60 and his wife age 50-60.

And a Dec 1833 Nicholas Co., KY land indenture shows John & William Parker bought their sisters shares of their fathers 114 acres Nicholas Co., VA farm. These 114 acres are then linked to John & William Parker in the tax records until Feb 1850 when a division of property occurred due to John Parker’s 1849 death. William Parker then died in 1853. They married Talbert/Talbott sisters. Both sons had male Parker descendants

In February 1850 a property division occurred at the house of William Parker between he and the heirs of John Parker dec’d. This included the 114 acres of land on McBrides Creek / Run which the tax records had variously recorded as belonging to: John and William Parker, John Parker & Wm. Parker with the brother listed immediately adjacent in the tax list.
