Facts and Events
Immigrated to Nova Scotia, February 1711. Note from ourwebsite.org/nevins: "Seems possible that the 'three brothers' story refers to the three sons of this Thomas Nevins. Since both David and William seem to have been ardent supporters of the Revolution, this would seem to leave the younger Thomas Nevins as the Tory who finked on is brothers. There is even a 'club foot' in the family - belonging to David's son John Nevins. Alternatively, the Three Brothers could be the sons of David - David, John, and a son who has been written out of the family history (because he was a Tory?)." |
