    "127. Dea. Thomas1 Mighill was first of Roxbury, where he and his wife, Ellen, were admitted to the church, perhaps as early as 1637 (Savage), then of Rowley, 1639, where he was ordained deacon 3 Dec., 1639, of the church then gathered in Rowley; freeman, 13 May 1640. He brought with him his first wife, Ellen, who was buried 12 : 5 mo. 1640, the first person buried in Rowley. He married (2) Ann Parrat, sister of Dea. Francis Parrat. He had a three-acre lot on Wethersfield Street, 1643. 'february 7th─49. It is granted Tho. Mighill that, that Streete which is betweene his house and his mault Kilne shall Remayne as it is now provided that when the fence is Repayerd againe it shall be mayde thre Rod wide notwithstanding the order to the Contrary' (Rowley R.). He was buried 14 : 5 mo. (?) (4 mo.), 1654. His will, dated 11 June, 1654, approved 27 : 1 mo. 1655 [March 27, 1655], mentions, beside wife and children, "sister Ann Tenney and Faith Parrat Sen." (Essex Probate). The inventory of his estate, amounting to £571 14s. 11d., was taken 24 June, 1654, and filed in court 27 Mar., 1655. … A tradition in the family gives the birth of Dea. Thomas as 1606 and of Ellen, his wife, 1610."
