    28 Sep 1738: Inventory of Thomas Meriam late of Lexington: £184-13-0, by John Stone Sen'r, Joseph Miriam, Jonas Meriam. [The judges calls son Nathaniel, who swears to this inventory, one of the executors of the last will, but no will is found in the file. The following is taken from the recorded will, Vol. 22, p. 784.]
    Will of "Thomas Meriam of Lexington ... yeoman", dated 24 May 1733, proved 7 Nov 1738, names wife Mary Meriam; son Simon Meriam [paying his brothers David and Thomas]; sons Thomas and Isaac and daughters Mary and Lydia to be paid by son Nathaniel by an "obligation" dated 7 May 1733; son Isaac Meriam; daughter Mary Lock; daughter Lydia Eaton; to Church of Christ in Lexington and to its pastor Rev'd Mr. John Hancock and to his two sons John and Ebenezer. Wife Mary and son Nathaniel to be executors.
