U.S. Army Ret. : McCamish, Thomas, entered service 1780 in Bedford County, Virginia, where he resided; granted Pension age 73 in Greene County, Tennessee in 1832; died there 1/4/1840; married 9/18/1810 or 9/19/1810 to Jinney/Jenney Wilson (Marriage Bond 9/18/1810 between Thomas McCamish Sr. & Jinney Wilson signed by Thomas McCamish who was son of William) Greene County, Tennessee; widow granted Pension there in 1853, resided near Greenville; granted Bounty Land Warrant #12574 there in 1855; resided there in 1866 age 86 when Pension restored after Civil War; nephew Thomas McAmis/McCamish resided there in 1853 age 67.
