    Case 9552: Mayo Thomas Roxbury 1750 June 5.

    Will of "Thomas Mayo or Roxbury ... Being far Advanced in Years", dated 9 Apr 1748, proved 5 Jun 1750, names wife Elisabeth Mayo; son Joseph Mayo; eldest son John Mayo; son Thomas Mayo [part of the Estate of my Brother John Mayo]; my six daughters to wit, Hannah Richards, Sarah Scarbrough, Elisabeth Bridge, Abigail Wilson, Mary Griggs and Mehitabel Holmes. Three sons to be executors.
    22 Jun 1759: Account of executors Thomas and Joseph, John having died. Balance to be distributed double share to heirs of John, single share to Thomas, Joseph, Hannah Richards, Sarah Scarborouogh, Elizabeth Bridges, Abigail Wilson, Mary Griggs and Mehetable Holmes. Further accounting names some of the husbands: Jeremiah Richards, James Griggs, David Holmes.
