    Thomas W. May, veteran civil engineer of PEI who as a young student at Edinburgh U. was a classmate of Robert Louis Stevenson, died Charlottetown July 31 at the age of 85. He had been employed for nearly 60 years with Island railway & PEI govt. He was a native of Channel Is.
