Thomas Marshall was born on 21st July 1693 at St Ippolyts in Hertfordshire, son of Susan Marshall, formerly Hobbs, and her husband Nicholas Marshall. Thomas was baptised when five days old, but sadly died very shortly after, being buried just two days after his baptism.
