T M WHITTON who was on the 27th Febr. 1851 duly and legally elected Constable of Wayne County by the qualified voters of the 10th Civil District thereof to fill the unexpired term of Lawson HAYS removed came into Court and entered into the following bond to wit [standard bond follows. Securities were T H MABRY James B ANDERSON and Wm B ROSS. Bond was for $4000.00]
And the said T M WHITTON T H MABRY and Wm B ROSS came into Court and acknowledged the execution of said Bond and the Court approved of the same and ordered it to be recorded Whereupon the said WHITTEN took the necessary Oaths for his qualification.

A settlement between Thomas H MABRY Trustee of Wayne County and A MONTAGUE and Jonathan MORRIS Commissioners appointed by this Court to settle with the revenue Collectors of said County the year 1851 was this day submitted to the Court which was Confirmed by the Court and ordered to be recorded.

Came into court Thomas H MABRY trustee of Wayne County and entered into bond in the sum of twenty five hundred dollars with D J JONES J J BIFFLE and R BREWER his securities Conditioned for the faithful destribution of the public School monies for the year 1851 which was rec’d by the Court and ordered to be recorded.

Came William C BURNS into Court who was this day chosen and appointed Guardian to John M and Elizabeth J.P. BURNS minor heirs of Jacob J. BURNS deceased and entered into bond in the sum of one thousand dollars with Thomas H MABRY and J I BIFFLE as his securities conditioned for the faithful performance of his Guardianship which was approved of by the Court and ordered to be recorded whereupon the said Wm C BURNS took the necessary oath for his qualification.
Came Thomas H MABRY Trustee of Wayne county and Reported to the Court the amount Collected by him from the Revenue officers for the year 1851 which report was received by the court and ordered to be recorded
5 April 1852: John JACKSON, Jr. elected constable for the 6th Civil District. Securities were John JACKSON, Jr., Thomas H. MABRY, Andrew JACKSON, Jacob SCOTT and Joacim DUGGER.
9 April 1852: Came A JACKSON in to Court who was this day chosen and appointed Guradian to Mary Jane KYLE minor heir of James KYLE Dec'd and entered into bond in the sum of fifteen hundred dollars with T. H. MABRY and John JACKSON Jr as his securities Conditioned for the faithful performance of this Guardianship which was approved of by the Court and ordered to be recorded And whereupon the A JACKSON took the necessary oath for his qualification

1 November 1852: Ordered by the Court that Thomas H MABRY be appointed overseer of the road of second Class in the place of John CHURCHWELL and that he have the hands in the same bounds to work under his direction Issd Nov 5th 1852.
3 January 1853: Ordered by the Court that L D STOWE be appointed Overseer of the road of second Class in the place of Thomas H. MABRY and that he have the hnads in the same bounds to work under his direction Iss'd Jan 13, 1853.

This day personally appeared in open Court Hiram L HENDLEY a minor son of George S H HENDLEY deceased late of Maury who is over the age of fourteen yars and resides in said County of Wayne and nominated and selected John McDOUGAL as his regular guardian and it also appearing to the Court that Mary C HENDLEY a minor daughter of said George S H HENDLEY under the age of fourteen years is not a resident of said County of Wayne and it appearing to the satisfaction of the Court that said John McDOUGAL is a proper and suitable person to be appointed Guardian of said minor orphan children It is therefore ordered by the Court that said John McDOUGAL be appointed Guardian of and for said Hiram L. HENDLEY and MAry C. HENDLEY and the same John McDOUGAL came into open Court and entered into bond in the penal sum of twenty thousand dollars payable to the state of Tennessee conditioned for the faithful execution of the tursts of his said guardianship with Thomas WARREN Thomas H MABRY Cavel B McLEAN and Archibald McDOUGAL as his securities thereto who severally acknowledged the execution of said bond in open Court and who are who are deemed to be amply good and sufficient for the penalty mentioned in said bond and which bond was said securities were approved of by the Court and said bond ordered to be recorded and the said John McDOUGAL thereupon took the necessary oath of qualification as such guardian.
