LUSK, Martha, of Lafayette County, Mississippi, page 138, Packet #856, dated 11 January 1859. It names neices, Elizabeth Steen, wife of Wm. H. Steen; Nancy Jamison, wife of Allen Jamison; Sarah Harrington, wife of Jas. F. Harrington of Chickasaw County; Susan Smith, wife of Murrel J. Smith, supposed to be of DeWitt County, Texas; grand-neices, Margaret C. Steen and Elizabeth J. Bankhead; and four children of John Bankhead of Yallobusha County, Mississippi: Charles E., Elizabeth J., Robert L., and J. L.; nephew, John Lusk of Lafayette County, Mississippi (to be held in trust by Wm. H. Steen).
NOTE: The relationship of James Fowler Harrington, husband of Sarah LUSK, to Bersheba Harrington is first cousin. Elizabeth Steen, Nancy Jamison, Sarah Harrington, Susan Smith, Martha Bankhead and John Lusk were all children of Thomas and Susannah Davidson LUSK. There were two other children: Isaac and Andrew Lusk. They and Martha Bankhead were deceased when Martha Lusk made her will. Susan Smith actually resided in Lavaca County, Texas at that time.
