I have not had time to prove or disprove this information.

O.K. here is how to find the connection, On the Miller side of the Bailey Tree find Joel Thomas Miller his wife was Ludissa Truitt trace her and find her Father William Truitt trace him back and find that his Mother was Sarah Lambertson born about 1793 follow her back and run into what Info. I have on the Family.

I think that my Miller's and your Miller's are different clans, but as soon as I have time I will start tracing down the lines and who knows maybe there might be a connection.

Anyway Good Luck and if I can be of any help be sure and let me know.

  5. On March 8, 1818 Thomas Lambertson eloped on horseback with Margaret "Peggy" Johnson, who was ten years his junior and the eldest child of Capt. Benjamin and Sarah Dashiell Johnson. Their marriage was the first to occur in Sparta Twp., Dearborn County, Indiana. He was the patriarch of a family of ten children-- five sons and five daughters-- all of whom survived him and gave him 82 known grandchildren. His wife Peggy Johnson Lambertson later moved to Kansas to be near her children there, where she died. She is buried in the Sabetha, Kansas Cemetery
On his mother's side, Lambertson was descended from the large and prosperous Parker family of the Eastern Shore of Virginia. A life-long farmer, he received his Iowa land through several government grants in the early 1840's. Thomas Lambertson was killed at the age of 73 when, at a family gathering, he was kicked by a horse, that was kicking at another. He was buried beside his parents-in-law and several infant grandchildren.
A historical footnote: Thomas' death came four days after the dedication of a national cemetery at Gettysburg, Pennsylvania, where President Lincoln quietly gave one of the most enduring addresses in modern history.
