Came to New Kent, VA in 1680. Hanover County from Wales between 1680 and 1685. The first documented evidence of the residence of Thomas is contained in the 1704 Rent Roll Record, which shows three Lacy's owning land. Thomas must had purchased his land as no land grant record has ever been found. If he paid his own way to America, he would have received ahead the right to 50 acres and that would have been recorded in the Virginia Land Grants.
