Acknowledgement by John Chokke knight of receipt of £600 from Giles Daubney lord Daubney chamberlain of the king for the lordships of Longeashton Staunton Drue Flyntford and Raden, Som.: the sum made up of £496.13.4 paid to him in ready money and to persons to whom he was indebted as follows: to James Jentyll' mercer of London £60, to John Myllet £16, to Nicholas Chokke £15, to Jasper Fyloll' 40s., and to John Chokke in rady money £10.6s.8d, which makes the whole sum of £600 over and above £200 for the manors of Eston in Gorden and Donkerton in Som. also purchased by Daubney of Chokke and which he has assigned him to pay unto John Staunton and Thomas Jubbys of Bristowe.
