Contrary to what has been published in a few places, his wife was not Lucy Corker. Lucy Corker was born in the 1650's and married Mr. Thomas Jordan of Surry County in 1685 (The Virginia Genealogist 9(1965):8).

    'THOMAS JORDAN (1600-by 10 August 1644) came to Virginia in the Diana and was living at James City, 1623 [citing Hotten 177]' He was in what was later Isle of Wight County by 1629 and to at least 1635. Mentioned as deceased in a patent issued 10 Aug 1644.

Footnote: 'No other issue has been positively identified; Thomas Jordan presented hereafter [1600-1644] could not have been the son of Sisley Jordan though he may have been a son of Samuel1 by a former marriage.'
