- Indenture made 25 September 1750, between Thomas Jones of Brunswick County, and Mark Fowler of Chesterfield County, £20, 150a, on North side of Seder Creek, Lawyers Road. Signed Thomas Jones. Wit: William Bently, Jamed Edmans (bym), Robert Stoker. Court 26 March 1751, Indenture acknowledged by Thomas Jones, and Mary the wife of the said Thomas personally appeared and relinquished her Right of Dower. [Brunswick County Deed Book 5, Page 32].
- Indenture made 26 March 1751 between Thomas Jones of St. Andrews Parish, Brunswick County, and William Bently of same, £20, on South side of Nottaway River, 200a, Seder Creek. Signed Thomas Jones. Wit: James Spicer, John Catton [Calton]. Court 26 March 1751, Indenture acknowledged by Thomas Jones and Mary the wife of the said Thomas personally appeared and relinquished her Right of dower.
