    Thomas Hoyt Hester, a son of the late Samuel B. Hester, and Sarah Woods Hester was born November 30, 1921, at Belgreen, Alabama. He died August 27, 1986, at Baptist Central Hospital, Memphis, Tenn., at the age of 64. Mr. Hester was a retired farmer. He leaves his wife, Elizabeth Green Hester, whom he married May 6, 1939.

    He also leaves one daughter, Judith Hester DePriest, one granddaughter, Beth McCormack and a great-grandson, Brent, all of Houston, Texas.

    He is also survived by three brothers, Bynum, Arthur, and Lewis Hester, all of Steele, Mo., and one sister, Margaret McDaniel, of Van Buren, Mo.; four nephews and one niece.

    Funeral services were held Saturday, August 30, 1986, at 2:00 p.m. at John W. German Funeral Home Chapel with Mr. Mason Harris and Mr. Mark Raulerson officiating.

    Burial was at Mount Zion Cemetery in Steele, Mo.

    Pallbearers were Chester Barnes, Gervis Capps, Rick Cooper, Delbert DePriest, Louis DePriest and Wayne Southern.
